Happy New Year!! Do not miss the first Desert Stonewall Democrats monthly meeting. The Golden Rainbow Senior Center on Saturday Jan 9 at 10 AM. We will be electing our new officers and steering committee and getting started in 2010....what a line up for this year... !! Governor, Senator Boxer, State wide offices including the all important Attorney General, Mary Salas in the 40th Senate, the 37th State Senate special elections, Victor Manuel Perez in the 80th, and a great candidate Jose Medina, in the 64th, Steve Pougnet for Congress in the 45th CD, Rancho Mirage City Council race with Scott Hines, Cathedral City city races, county races and MUCH MORE!
We have invited Justin Blake and Art Guerrero who have announced for the 37th State Senate race. Scott Hines, who is running for an open seat on the Rancho Mirage City Council, will be at the meeting. This is your opportunity to meet folks. These races are schedule for April! Scott's endorsement recommendation process has started. He has filled out the questionnaire and will meet electronically with the PAC committee and the committee will have a recommendation at the meeting. This is then in time to go the RCDCC for an endorsement.
